Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her support and motivation to improving South African Social Security Company (SASSA) services during an engagement with all the agency's senior administrators at a strategic planning session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled in the 2024 matric final exams.
Of the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for your National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% with the registered pupils while in the schooling sector.
These learners realized a commendable pass rate of 86%.
